Report Gun Fired Near Gaithersburg High School and Water Park
On Tuesday, August 17, police responded to a call that a gun was fired off near Gaithersburg High School and the water park on Frederick Avenue. The police log recorded the incident at or near 500 Frederick Avenue.
Assault with a Gun North of Middle School
On Sunday, August 15, police responded to a report that someone was assaulted with a gun just north of Gaithersburg Middle School. Police recorded the alleged assault with a gun at 400 Girard Street.
18-year-old Arrested with Handgun
On Monday, police arrested an 18-year-old on the 7900 block of Spiceberry Circle for gun possession. The arrest reportedly took place south east of the Flower Hill Giant and McDonald's. The McDonald's is the location of last month's police shooting death of Ryan Leroux, 21.
